A.Â
The Village of Albion will, effective immediately, begin
charging anyone who issues a bad check to the Village of Albion in payment
of any taxes, water, sewer or any other goods or services a penalty
in the amount of $25.

B.Â
The issuer of such a bad check shall pay, in cash, the
original amount of the moneys due, plus the penalty amount, within five business
days of notification, or legal action will occur.
C.Â
The village will refuse to accept checks from such person
in the future for any obligations which that individual may be indebted to
the village.
