[HISTORY: Adopted by the Town Board of the Town of Clay as indicated in article histories. Amendments noted where applicable.]
[Adopted 3-1-1993 by L.L. No. 1-1993]
This article shall be known and designated as "Zoning Board of Appeals - Payment For Services."
The Town of Clay recognizes the need to compensate members of the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Clay for services rendered by them, which services, due to the nature of the proceedings conducted by the said Board, occur on an as-needed basis, rather than on any specific schedule. The Town Board intends, therefore, to provide a method of payment to the members of the Zoning Board of Appeals on a per-meeting basis.
It is the intent of the Town of Clay by the enactment of this article to establish a basis of payment for services rendered by members of the Zoning Board of Appeals; to rescind and repeal any and all resolutions and regulations previously adopted that pertain in any way to payments made to members of the Zoning Board of Appeals for such services.
Members of the Zoning Board of Appeals will be compensated as provided in the current calendar year budget.

Amendments, changes and/or revisions to the amount of payments made for services rendered shall be made by resolution of the Town Board of the Town of Clay.
