[Adopted 5-1-1978 by L.L. No 16-1978]
No water system, water supply system, water distribution system, or part thereof, designed primarily for furnishing water for domestic, commercial or public purposes at retail to individual consumers within that part of the Town of Clay lying outside of any incorporated village therein shall be hereafter constructed except by a district or extension thereof established pursuant to Article 12 or Article 12-A of the Town Law.
No water system, water supply system, water distribution system, water mains, trunk mains or lines, pipe lines, pumping stations, or parts or appurtenances of the foregoing designed primarily for furnishing water at wholesale or to water districts or extensions thereof or to municipalities outside of the Town of Clay shall be constructed within that part of the Town of Clay lying outside of any incorporated village therein except by a district or extension thereof established pursuant to Article 12 or Article 12-A of the Town Law unless final plans therefor shall have been first submitted to the Town Board of the Town of Clay and the Town Board by resolution shall have approved such plans and consented to such proposed construction.
Violations of this Part 2 shall be punishable as provided in § 1-18 of this Code.
