It shall be the duty of every active member upon every alarm of fire to repair immediately to the place where the apparatus is housed or to go to the scene of the fire. He/she should attend all meetings, parades and drills of the Company and obey all orders of the commanding officers.

The senior most qualified member at the scene of the fire must take command until the arrival of the Chief or his/her assistants, and his/her orders shall be obeyed as though coming from one of the officers. It shall be the duty of the officer in charge to record the names of each member present at all alarms of fire, parades, and drills.
It shall be the duty of every member within 30 days after receiving notice of his/her election to sign the bylaws.
It shall be the duty of every member present to vote on all questions unless directly interested.

It shall be the duty of a member upon leaving the Company to return his/her uniform(s), key(s), pager, bylaws and any other equipment issued for the performance of his/her duties.
