[Adopted 6-12-1990 by L.L. No. 3-1990 (Ch. 26A, Art. I, of the 1968 Code)]
The term of office of the Mayor shall be for four years.
The term of office of the Trustees shall be for four years.
The Trustees shall be elected biennially in even-numbered years.
Pursuant to the terms of § 3-302 of the Village Law, the Trustees and Mayor will be elected as follows:
A. 
In the election to be held in 1991, two Trustees and the Mayor shall run for terms of three years.
B. 
In the election to be held in 1992, two Trustees shall run for terms of four years.
C. 
There shall be no election in 1993.
D. 
In the election to be held in 1994, two Trustees and the Mayor shall run for terms of four years.
This article is subject to permissive referendum pursuant to Village Law and Municipal Home Rule and shall not take effect until 30 days after its adoption.[1]
