The Village Police of the Village of Monroe
and all of its officers shall be authorized to issue and serve appearance
tickets within the confines of the Monroe Joint Park Area, known as
"Smith's Clove Park." Said police may issue and serve such appearance
ticket or tickets upon said person or persons who have committed an
offense or violation of the law of the State of New York or the Code
of the Village of Monroe. In addition thereto, the Village police
of the Village of Monroe shall have the authority to make whatever
arrest they deem proper for any violation of the Penal Law of the
State of New York or any other criminal statute within the confines
of Smith's Clove Park, due authorization having been given by the
Monroe Joint Park Commission.
