A.Â
Unless otherwise indicated, any person or persons, corporation or corporations, company or companies, partnership or partnerships violating any of the provisions of this Part 1 applying to the operation of the Village of Monroe Water Works shall be subject to a fine as set forth in Chapter 1, Article II, General Penalty, § 1-14.

B.Â
The imposition of a penalty for any violation of this
Part 1 shall not excuse the violation or permit it to continue. The
violator shall, where possible, correct and remedy such violation
therewith. Any reasonable delay shall constitute a separate offense.
All ordinances or resolutions and parts of either
that were heretofore adopted or passed and that conflict or are inconsistent
with this Part 1 or with any part thereof are hereby annulled and
repealed; provided, however, that suits and proceedings now pending
shall in no way be affected by any provisions of this Part 1.
