A.
In addition
to any other requirements or prohibitions provided by statute or law,
no person shall be eligible to be elected or appointed as mayor, trustee,
justice or member of any board or commission who is not a resident
of the Village.
B.
In addition to any other requirements or prohibitions provided by statute or law, and in lieu of any other residency requirements imposed by law, no person shall be eligible to be appointed as acting justice or any other Village office not set forth in Subsection A of this section who is not a resident of the County of Nassau.
C.
Pursuant
to the powers vested in the Village pursuant to Municipal Home Rule
Law § 10, Subdivision 1(ii)a(1) and 1(ii)e(3), the Board
of Trustees hereby amends and supersedes Village Law § 3-300,
Subdivision 2, in its application to the Village of Sea Cliff.
