The provisions of this article shall apply in all cases except when it becomes necessary to stop a vehicle to avoid conflict with other traffic or to comply with the directions of a police or other traffic control officer or a traffic control device.
Whenever spaces shall be marked off on any street or public parking lot for the parking of vehicles, every vehicle parked on such street shall be parked within the lines bounding such spaces.
The parking of any vehicle on a street, within five feet of a driveway, is hereby prohibited.

Except as otherwise permitted in this chapter, the parking of any vehicle on a street, so that the left side of such vehicle is adjacent to the curbline, is hereby prohibited.

A. 
The parking of vehicles is prohibited at all times in those streets or parts of streets described in Schedule M (§ 125-59).
B. 
The parking of vehicles is prohibited at all times on those streets or parts of streets described in Schedule W (§ 125-69).
C. 
The parking of vehicles not facing head in is prohibited at all times on those streets or parts of streets described in Schedule Y (§ 125-71).

A. 
The parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited in all municipal lots and on all streets within the Village between the hours of 3:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., except in those locations described in Schedule N (§ 125-60) where the all-night parking of passenger vehicles only shall be permitted.
B. 
The parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited in the locations described in Schedule O (§ 125-61) during the times indicated.
The parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited in the locations described in Schedule P (§ 125-62) for a longer period of time than that designated, during the hours indicated.

A. 
The standing of vehicles is hereby prohibited in the locations described in Schedule Q (§ 125-63) during the hours indicated.
B. 
The standing of vehicles is prohibited at all times on those streets or parts of streets described in Schedule W (§ 125-69).
C. 
The standing of vehicles not facing head in is prohibited at all times on those streets or parts of streets described in Schedule Y (§ 125-71).

A. 
The stopping of vehicles is hereby prohibited in the locations described in Schedule R (§ 125-64) during the hours indicated.
B. 
The stopping of vehicles on the traveled portion of any street is hereby prohibited.
C. 
The locations described in Schedule U (§ 125-67) are hereby designated as loading zones, and the stopping of vehicles for purposes other than the loading or unloading of merchandise for commercial purposes is hereby prohibited in such locations during the hours indicated.

D. 
The stopping of vehicles is prohibited at all times on those streets or parts of streets described in Schedule W (§ 125-69).

E. 
The stopping of vehicles not facing head in is prohibited at all times on those streets or parts of streets described in Schedule Y (§ 125-71).

The locations described in Schedule S (§ 125-65) are hereby designated as bus stops, and the parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited in such locations.
The locations described in Schedule T (§ 125-66) are hereby designated as parking areas for vehicles operated by handicapped persons only, and the stopping, standing or parking of vehicles operated by any other person is hereby prohibited in such locations.

Except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic, or when in compliance with law or the directions of a police officer or official traffic control device, no person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle:
A. 
On a sidewalk.
B. 
On a crosswalk.
C. 
Alongside or opposite any street excavation or obstruction when stopping, standing or parking would obstruct traffic.
D. 
Within 15.0 feet of a fire hydrant.

The stopping, standing or parking of trucks or other commercial vehicles is hereby prohibited in the locations described in Schedule V (§125-68) unless specifically permitted by order of the Board of Trustees as indicated therein.
