The Department of Facility Services is hereby created under the authority of Section 1 of Chapter VI of the Town Charter.
The Department of Facility Services shall be headed by a Director of Building Services, who shall be appointed by and responsible to the Town Manager.
The Department of Facility Services shall include, unless otherwise directed by the Town Manager, the following divisions:
A. 
Building Maintenance.
B. 
Construction Management.
The Department of Facility Services shall be responsible for:
A. 
The construction, reconstruction and renovation of Town-owned physical properties and facilities and the maintenance of such properties and facilities unless vested with the Board of Education.
B. 
The performance and supervision of architectural services for the Town.
C. 
The development of agreements for the use of Town buildings.
D. 
The provision of facility support services.
The Department of Facility Services is authorized to enter into agreements for the use of buildings and facilities under the jurisdiction of the Board of Education.
