Long title. The long title of this chapter shall be
"An Ordinance to Establish Zoning Regulations for the Use of Land
and Structures, Area of Lots, Bulk of Buildings and Other Structures,
the Density of Population, the Provision of Off-Street Parking Spaces,
to Divide the Township Into Districts, and Similar Regulations for
the Township of Washington, Gloucester County, New Jersey, in Accordance
With the Provisions of the New Jersey Municipal Land Use Law, N.J.S.A.
40:55D."
B.
Short title. This chapter shall be known and may be
cited as the "Washington Township Zoning Ordinance."
The zoning regulations and districts set forth
in this chapter are designed to effectuate the Washington Township
Master Plan and to make such regulations substantially consistent
with the land use plan element of the Master Plan.
