No person shall move any house or any building structure through the streets within the limits of the Township unless such person shall first apply to and receive from the Township a permit therefor.

A. 
The application for a House Moving Permit shall have attached to it a drawing showing the proposed route and the dimensions of the structure to be moved, and shall state the equipment which will be used in connection with the operation.
B. 
Such application shall be submitted to the Township Engineer at least 30 days prior to the date of the intended operation.
C. 
The permit shall not be issued by the Township Engineer until the application has been approved by the Chief of Police, the Department of Public Works and by the Division of Parks and Forestry, and until the bond and certificates of insurance, described in § 180-28, have been approved by the Township Attorney.
D. 
Prior to the issuance of a House Moving Permit, a list shall be compiled by the applicant, from the records of the Township Tax Assessor, of all residents along the route of the move. A copy of said list shall be presented to the Township, along with the application. All residents along the route shall be notified, by the applicant, by certified mail, with a return receipt requested, advising them of the date of the move and of any inconvenience that they or their property may suffer as a result of said move. The receipts from the post office shall be presented to the Township prior to the move. Such notice shall be made at least five days prior to the move. If the receipts of notice have not been received prior to the move, the permit shall be automatically rescinded.

A. 
Prior to the issuance of the House Moving Permit, the applicant shall post a bond in an amount fixed by the Township, but not less than $10,000, and approved as to form and surety by the Township Attorney. The said bond shall indemnify and save harmless the Township for any damages to shade trees or other property of the Township.
B. 
Prior to the issuance of the House Moving Permit, the applicant shall submit to the Township Attorney for his/her approval certificates of policies of insurance issued to the owner and building mover for vehicles and apparatus to be used in the operation, with limits of $100,000 and $200,000 for bodily injury and $25,000 for property damage; general liability insurance with limits of $100,000 and $200,000 for bodily injury and $25,000 for property damage, with contingent coverage within the same limits in favor of the Township either by endorsement or by separate policy; and workmen's compensation insurance as required by law. Where certificates of insurance are required hereunder, they shall be made to the Township and shall contain a stipulation that no changes therein or cancellation of the policies shall be effective except upon 10 days' written notice to the Township.
The fee for a House Moving Permit issued under this article shall be as provided in Chapter 75, Fees. Such fee shall be paid to the Township upon the filing of the application for a permit.
Any person who violates any provision of this article shall, upon conviction, be liable to the penalty stated in Chapter 1, Section 1-15.
