A. 
A fee of $15 shall be charged to license an altered dog owned by a person under age 65. A fee of $20 shall be charged to license an unaltered dog owned by a person under age 65.
B. 
A fee of $5 shall be charged to license an altered dog owned by one or more persons each of whom is 65 years of age or older. A fee of $10 shall be charged to license an unaltered dog owned by one or more persons each of whom is 65 years of age or older.
C. 
There shall be a fee of $10 for any replacement tag requested with one year of the issuance of the original license from the City Clerk.
D. 
In addition to the license fee established by this section, each applicant for a dog license shall pay a surcharge of $1 if the dog to be licensed is altered or a surcharge of $3 if the dog to be licensed is unaltered. Said surcharges shall be collected for the Animal Population and Control Program pursuant to state regulation.
E. 
No fee shall be charged to license any guide dog, hearing dog, service dog, working search dog, detection dog, police work dog or therapy dog, upon proper documentation being supplied to the City Clerk.
