As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings
indicated:
An individual who conducts a public auction for any person.
Any item of personal property.
Individuals, partnerships, corporations or any other entity of any
kind.
A public sale of goods to the highest bidder conducted by receiving
bids, except any sale pursuant to a judgment, decree or order of any court,
sales by executors, administrators, trustees under deed of assignment or in
bankruptcy proceedings, sales by lienors in their official capacity, sales
by licensed pawnbrokers and sales by nonprofit, religious or charitable organizations
for fundraising activities.
