Village of Mamaroneck, NY Chapter 160 Drug-Free School Zones

§ 160-1 Drug-free school zones established; installation of signs.

The Board of Trustees of the Village of Mamaroneck does hereby express its support for the implementation of a drug-free zone program, including the installation of the appropriate signs around schools.

§ 160-2 Village to participate in program.

A. The Village of Mamaroneck will participate in the coordination of the administration of the Drug-Free School Zone Program in the Village of Mamaroneck.

B. The Village of Mamaroneck Board urges the County of Westchester's District Attorney to support this resolution and position by refusing to plea bargain in such cases.

C. The Village of Mamaroneck Board urges the State Legislature to expand the drug-free zones to include other areas frequented by children.
