This chapter shall be known as the "Pesticide Ordinance of the Town
of Shelter Island."
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to sell or
use in any manner any of the following chemicals: dieldrin, aldrin, Dichiorodiphenyltrichioroethane
(DDT), or a combination of any of the above-listed chemicals.
Any person, firm, or corporation who violates any portion of this chapter
shall be deemed guilty of a violation and, upon conviction thereof, shall
be punished by a fine not exceeding $250 or by imprisonment for a period not
in excess of 15 days, or both.
