Each collector shall, without charge, furnish each customer with
a card which shall contain the name and phone number of the person
to call in case of complaints, and each customer shall be furnished
with a list of any material which will be picked up by the collector
and notice of any extra charge to be levied.

Each collector shall pick up a maximum of six receptacles and/or items of trash or rubbish each week. With the exception of toters with a capacity up to 96 gallons, all receptacles or items placed for pickup shall be able to be carried to the curb by the property owner or occupant without dragging, pushing or wheeling, such that one person can lift the item onto or into a truck. All individual items placed for pickup, except for ninety-six-gallon toters, shall not exceed 42 inches in any dimension or 60 pounds in weight. Specific items to be excluded from the collector's responsibility for pickup and made the property owner's responsibility to dispose of include stumps, logs greater than 10 inches in diameter, grass, tires, batteries, gasoline and oil tanks, fifty-five-gallon drums, hazardous materials, rugs and construction, demolition or remodeling wastes that do not comply with the requirements of ยงย 127-14C. These excluded items and all other items not in compliance with the trash or rubbish pickup specifications are the responsibility of the property owner.

C.ย
Each collector shall pick up construction, demolition and remodeling waste that is generated by the property owner and did not involve the work of a contractor. This construction waste must be placed for collection in a manner described in ยงย 127-14B and shall not be in excess of allowable quantity, dimension, or weight as described in ยงย 127-14B. The Village or its contractors will pick up certain bulky items as described in ยงย 127-13D.

The refuse collectors shall not permit refuse to fall or collect
upon the street or ground from which they are collecting, nor shall
they permit refuse to sift out or fall from any vehicle or in any
way become distributed upon or along private property or on the public
streets or other thoroughfares.
