A commission of the Borough of Columbia, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, is hereby created to be known as the "Planning Commission of the Borough of Columbia." The said Planning Commission shall consist of seven members and is hereby reestablished and continued pursuant to the provisions of Article II, Section 201, of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code,[1] as established by the Act of July 31, 1968, P.L. 805, Number 247, as amended and reenacted.

The Planning Commission shall be comprised of seven members who shall be appointed for terms of office of four years, except that the terms of the members first appointed pursuant to this chapter shall be so fixed that no more than two shall be reappointed or replaced during any future calendar year.
The Planning Commission shall have all the powers and duties conferred and imposed upon it as set forth in the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code, established by the Act of July 31, 1968, P.L. 805, No. 247, as amended and reenacted.
