B.
Board of Assessment Review meeting date. The Town Board of Assessment Review shall meet to hear complaints in relation to real property assessments on the first Thursday after the fourth Tuesday in May and for so many days thereafter as the Board of Assessment Review deems necessary.

This article is specifically intended to supersede the provision of New York Real Property Tax Law § 512[1] which provides that a board of assessment review shall meet to hear complaints in relation to assessments beginning on the fourth Tuesday of May and for so many days thereafter as the board deems necessary. All other local laws or ordinances or parts of local laws or ordinances in conflict with any part of this article are hereby repealed.
