GENERAL REFERENCES
Vehicles and traffic — See Ch. 583.
No person or persons shall propel or ride any bicycle or other such vehicle of propulsion over, along or upon any sidewalk in the Village of Island Park.
Any person or persons using a bicycle or other such vehicle of propulsion on the public streets, avenues or highways of the Village shall comply with the requirements of Vehicles and Traffic Law Title VII, Article 34, Operation of Bicycles and Play Devices.

No person or persons shall propel any bicycle at a rate of speed greater than 15 miles per hour, nor shall any greater number than two persons abreast parade or ride in said Village on any bicycle, motorcycle or other such vehicle of propulsion.
No person or persons riding a bicycle or motorcycle, or other such vehicle of propulsion, shall carry or transfer thereon any child so as to be in violation of New York Vehicle and Traffic Law § 1238.

Any person committing an offense against this chapter shall be guilty of a violation punishable by a fine not exceeding $250 or by imprisonment for a period not exceeding 15 days for each offense, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
