For the purpose of promoting the public health, safety, morale and general welfare of the community, the Village of Island Park is hereby divided into the following types of districts:

Said districts are bounded and defined as shown on a map entitled "Official Zoning and Use Map, Incorporated Village of Island Park, Nassau County, New York," dated November 1978, which accompanies this chapter and is hereby made a part thereof.
