No person or persons, firm, association or corporation
shall keep or permit to be kept at one time any quantity of inflammable
liquid in excess of five gallons within 20 feet of any building used
wholly or partly as a dwelling unless said inflammable liquids are
kept in metal containers, which containers shall be kept in a building
or portion thereof which shall be constructed of fireproof material
or in a building or portion thereof which shall be floored and sealed
with materials of fireproof construction.
Any person committing an offense against this
article shall be guilty of a violation punishable by a fine not exceeding
$250 or by imprisonment for a period not exceeding 15 days for each
offense, or by both such fine and imprisonment.

Every owner or occupant of any house, store
or other building and every person, firm, association or corporation
owning or being entitled to possession of any vacant lot or improved
property in the Village of Island Park shall at all times keep the
premises owned or occupied by him, it or them, or to the possession
of which they are entitled, free from papers, boxes, rubbish or other
inflammable materials which are likely to cause damage by fire.
Any person committing an offense against this
article shall be guilty of a violation punishable by a fine not exceeding
$250 or by imprisonment for a period not exceeding 15 days for each
offense, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
