Cemetery caretaker — See Ch. 52.
The care, management and control of the Egg Harbor City Cemetery, in the County of Atlantic, shall hereafter be vested in and confided to a Board of Trustees, who shall possess the same powers and perform the same duties as are now confided in the Mayor and Council of the City of Egg Harbor City in respect to said cemetery, and such further powers, privileges and duties as are conferred them by this chapter and the Act of the legislature known as "An Act to Authorize the Incorporation of Rural Cemetery Associations, and Regulate Cemeteries," revision 1875, and its several supplements thereto.

The Board of Trustees of the Cemetery shall consist of the following seven members: the Mayor; three Trustees appointed by the Mayor; two members of Council appointed by the Council; and the City Treasurer. The City Clerk shall act as Secretary of the Board and shall be a nonvoting member.
All deeds for any lot of ground in said Cemetery to be sold by said Trustees shall be signed by the Mayor of the City of Egg Harbor City and attested by its Clerk under the Corporate Seal of said city, and all moneys received by said Trustees shall be paid to the Treasurer of the City of Egg Harbor City, who shall in time pay bills contracted by said Trustees, when countersigned by the Clerk of the city, and the funds received by said Treasurer shall be placed to the credit of the Cemetery Fund and shall not be used for any other purpose than maintaining and supporting of said cemetery.
