A. 
Pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 40A:61-5, there is hereby created the position of Risk Manager in and for the City of Egg Harbor City.
B. 
The Risk Manager shall be appointed by the Common Council for a term of one year.
C. 
The annual retainer of the Risk Manager shall be as fixed in the Salary Ordinance, plus such expenses as the Risk Manager may incur in or about the performance of his duties. The salary shall include all services needed to be performed by the Risk Manager.[1]

The Risk Manager shall be responsible for issues relating to insurance and municipal excess insurance as directed by the Common Council.
