A. 
Chapter 198, Parks and Recreation Areas, of the Code of the City of Egg Harbor is hereby created for the purpose of regulating City-owned-operated or-maintained parks, lakes and playgrounds not currently covered by local statutes.
B. 
The Council of the City of Egg Harbor determines that the purpose of this chapter is to protect and promote the public health and welfare of its community.
No persons shall use the City Park Lake and its facilities except those permitted to do so as hereinafter set forth and then only subject to the restrictions and conditions established by this article.[1]

A. 
For the use of the facilities at the City of Egg Harbor's Lake Park, the fees shall be set by a resolution of the City Council and may be adjusted annually in order to cover costs associated with the maintenance and operation of the City Park Lake and its facilities.

B. 
Appropriate badges to be worn on bathing suits; displayed on beach bags or other attire for the purpose of identification and insurance. Badges and bands will be issued upon payment of the fees.
C. 
All campers/lake guests over age four must display a badge or wristband upon entrance to lake facility.
D. 
Appropriate badges must be visible.

Bathing is only permitted when lifeguards are on duty from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. No swimming is permitted on North Beach.
B. 
No swimming is permitted upon, in, or adjacent to any watercraft device, boat, board, floating device or tube of any kind when lifeguards are not on duty.

A. 
No boats or watercraft of any kind except human-powered rowboats and canoes shall be permitted on the lake.
B. 
No boats or watercraft of any kind whatsoever shall be permitted in areas of the lake which may from time to time be restricted by regulation.

No dogs are permitted except service dogs.

No fires or outside grills shall be permitted except in the areas designated for such purpose. Designated areas are South Beach and campground. No outside grills are permitted in the Lake Park area, pavilion (unless paid) or North Beach. No outside grills and fires are permitted on North Beach.
No cutting of standing green growth shall be permitted.

No one shall be permitted within the South Beach area before dawn and after dusk.

A. 
All campground operations will be run by Pomona RV as provided by current contractual agreement.
B. 
All camping rates, deposits, refunds, and fees will be determined by owner David Benn on a seasonal basis.
C. 
All campers must display a badge to enter and utilize the Lake facility. Facilities include, but are not limited to, bathrooms; shower; snack bar; golf course; playground; swimming; basketball; trails and woods; picnics and grills (current rates/fees apply); swan boat (current rate applies).
D. 
Campers with badges may enter the park during normal operating hours from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
E. 
Campers must observe all ordinances and rules set forth by Common Council.
F. 
No picnics, fires or outside grills are permitted on North Beach. No overnight camping is permitted in any city-owned park, playground or property. Camping is permitted only in designated camping areas with permit.

This section is governed by the “Campground Facilities Act,” N.J.S.A. 5:16-1 et seq.

Limit of speed shall be 5 mph.
All vehicles shall be parked in the parking areas designated by the Common Council, except that one vehicle shall be permitted at each cabin or camping site.

The pavilion on the northeasterly side of the City Park Lake and its surrounding area shall be available for the use of groups upon request and approval of the current campground operator at rates set forth by the same.
Ice skating shall be permitted in season when and only as designated by the Property Committee of the Common Council. Ice skaters shall use the facilities at their own risk.

Each and every person violating any of the provisions of this article shall be subject, upon conviction thereof, to a fine not exceeding $1,000, a term of imprisonment not exceeding 90 days or a period of community service not exceeding 90 days, or any combination thereof, in the discretion of the Judge before whom said conviction shall be had.

No throwing rocks or sand.
B. 
No sitting, picnicking, grilling, swimming or camping on lake wall or surrounding perimeters of the lake.
C. 
Children under 13 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
D. 
No diving, flipping or pushing off the dock.
E. 
No rafts, tubes or other floating device is allowed on the dock.
F. 
No gasoline powered engine is allowed on beach or lake. Supply delivering vehicles are excluded.
G. 
Children unable to swim cannot be present or carried to dock.
H. 
Alcohol or illegal drugs are prohibited.
I. 
Children learning to swim must have protective floating devices.
J. 
Picnic tables must be rented before using. Stand tables are only to be used by stand customers.
K. 
No outside vendors are permitted in lake or campground area until after 7:00 p.m. and may remain until 10:00 p.m.
L. 
All vendors must possess a valid mercantile license.
M. 
No unloading is permitted at or near fence.
N. 
No feeding of wildlife.
O. 
No quad vehicles are permitted.
