The purpose of this chapter shall be to provide
design, performance and improvement standards in the Township of Egg
Harbor in order to enhance the aesthetics and efficiency of the built
environment and to promote public health, safety and welfare. More
specifically, it is the intent of this chapter to encourage compatible
architectural and community design, to protect the natural environment,
to make efficient use of both public and private investment and to
promote acceptable land uses.
