Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:9-135 the office of Deputy Township Clerk for
the Township of Mannington is hereby created. Appointment to said office shall
be made by the Township Committee and the term of office shall be for one
year terminating at the end of each calendar year.
During the absence or disability of the Township Clerk, the Deputy Township
Clerk shall have all the powers of the Township Clerk and shall perform the
functions and duties of such office, as provided by law. Said Deputy may also
assist the Township Clerk in the performance of his or her duties, but only
when directed to do so by the Mayor or Township Committee.
