GENERAL REFERENCES
Fire prevention — See Ch. 89.
Fires in parks — See Ch. 122, § 122-11.
No person shall by outdoor fire burn or cause to be burned by outdoor fire:
A. 
Vegetation including, but not limited to, trees, tree branches, leaves, yard trimmings, shrubbery, grass, weeds and crops.
B. 
Rags, old clothes, leather, rubber, carpets, wood excelsior, paper, ashes, furniture, tin cans, glass, crockery, masonry and other similar materials.
C. 
Waste animal or vegetable matter from houses, kitchens, restaurants, hotels, produce markets or any source, or food of any kind to be thrown away.
A. 
Burning of refuse for training or research exercises in fire protection or prevention when conducted by a fire company of the township and in compliance with Title 7, Chapter 27, Subchapter 2, of the New Jersey Administrative Code (Air Pollution Control).
B. 
Whenever a permit has been issued under the provisions of Chapter 89, Fire Prevention, of the Code of the Township of West Windsor and in compliance with Title 7, Chapter 27, Subchapter 2, of the New Jersey Administrative Code (Air Pollution Control).

Any person who violates or neglects to comply with any provision of this chapter or notice issued pursuant thereto shall, upon conviction thereof, be liable to the penalty stated in Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article II, Penalty, § 1-3.
