It is the desire of the Supervisors of the Township
of Athens in the County of Bradford and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
and said Board of Supervisors hereby signifies its intention to amend
the Articles of an Authority under the Municipality Authorities Act
of May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended.[1]

The projects undertaken by said Authority are
construction of sewers, sewer systems and sewage disposal plants,
as well as any related uses thereof, and the collection of charges
therefor. No other authority has been organized under the Act of 1945,
P.L. 382, or under the Act approved June 28, 1935, P.L. 463,[1] by the Township of Athens or is in existence in or for
said Township of Athens, the incorporating municipality.

The proper officers of the Township are hereby
authorized and directed to amend the Articles of said Authority and
to execute an amended Articles of Incorporation and file the same
with the Secretary of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as provided
by law.
In pursuance of said desire and intention and
in conformity with the provisions of said Municipality Authorities
Act and its amendments, the proposed amended Articles of Incorporation
are hereby set forth in full as follows:

To the Secretary of the Commonwealth, Harrisburg,
Pennsylvania.

In compliance with the requirements
of the Municipality Authorities Act of 1945, approved the 2nd day
of May 1945, P.L. 382, as amended, and pursuant to an ordinance enacted
by the Board of Supervisors of the Township of Athens that a Municipal
Authority Article be amended and that an amended certificate of incorporation
be issued to said Authority, the Township of Athens does hereby certify:

That the name of the Authority is the "Athens
Township Authority."

Second:

The Authority is formed under the Act of May
2, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended. No other authority has been organized
under the Act of June 28, 1935, P.L. 463, by the Township of Athens,
nor is the Township of Athens a member of any joint authority organized
under any aforementioned acts.

Third:

The name of the amending municipality is the
"Township of Athens, Bradford County, Pennsylvania."
