[HISTORY: Adopted by the Town Board of the
Town of Woodruff 7-24-2000. Amendments noted where applicable.]
A.
The Town of Woodruff is governed by the Oneida County
Zoning and Shoreland Protection Ordinance.
B.
The Woodruff Town Board had previously requested of
the Oneida County Planning and Zoning Department and Committee that
altered, reduced setbacks be allowed in the Business Zoned District
in the Town of Woodruff that is also contained within the Lakeland
Sanitary District.
C.
The Oneida County Planning and Zoning Committee, on
April 12, 2000, adopted the following motion by a unanimous vote:
"To allow for a 'zero foot' front setback in the Business Zoned District
within the Town of Woodruff that is also contained in the Lakeland
Sanitary District along all highways - town, county, state and federal
roads - as well as the 'zero foot' side yard or rear yard setback
in the same area, with the exception that there will be a five-foot
side yard or rear yard setback when the property abuts a property
that contains a single-family and/or multifamily dwelling, and with
the exception of the shoreland setbacks being maintained.
D.
This Oneida County Planning and Zoning Committee action
has now been made an official part of the Oneida County Zoning and
Shoreland Protection Ordinance.
The Woodruff Town Board formally adopts this
identical property setback wording indicated above in the form of
an ordinance as previously requested and granted for the Town of Woodruff
by Oneida County.
All signage within the zero setback areas of
the Town of Woodruff Business Zoned District will be limited to conform
to Oneida County standards of signs not greater than 64 square feet
per face. Under no circumstances will the normally allowable two-hundred-fifty-square-foot
signs within a zero setback district be allowed within the Town of
Woodruff.
