A.
Georgiaville Beach is to be open to the public during
such hours as are determined by the Town Manager and which are posted
in the Town Hall.
The owner or operator of any vehicle or boat trailer which is at Georgiaville Beach without a valid sticker will be fined $25 for each offense, and said vehicle and/or boat trailer may be towed by the Town at the owner's expense. Such fine may be paid by mail in accordance with the procedures set out in Chapter 340, Vehicles and Traffic, Article I, Payment of Parking Fines, § 340-1.
All of the stickers required under this article
may be obtained at the Smithfield Recreation Department.
B.
Stickers shall be valid for a period of up to two
years, depending on the date purchased. They must be displayed in
the lower corner of the front windshield on the operator's side of
the vehicle. Proof of residency is required to purchase a resident
sticker (i.e., license, lease, tax bill). No vehicles will be admitted
to the Georgiaville Beach parking lot without a valid parking sticker.

B.

the lower corner of the towing vehicle's front windshield on the operator's
side or on the boat trailer frame. Proof of residency is required
to purchase a resident sticker (i.e., license, lease, tax bill). There
will be no admittance to Georgiaville Pond without a boat trailer
sticker.

B.

years, depending on the date purchased. They must be conspicuously
posted on the starboard side of the stern of the motor boat. Proof
of residency is required to purchase a resident sticker (i.e., license,
lease, tax bill). There will be no admittance to Georgiaville Pond
without a boat sticker.

B.
Beach passes shall be valid for a period of one year,
depending on the date purchased. Proof of residency is required to
purchase a resident sticker (i.e., license, lease, tax bill). All
individuals must purchase a beach pass to use Georgiaville Beach.
No individual (resident or nonresident) will be admitted to Georgiaville
Beach without a beach pass.

A.
Any person who is: a senior citizen, age 62 or older;
and/or a person with a disability as defined by Rhode Island General
Law 32-1-17 regardless of age; and/or an honorably discharged veteran
of the U.S. Armed Forces, shall be eligible to receive a free parking
sticker, trailer sticker, motor boat sticker, and beach pass at the
Town of Smithfield Recreation Department upon presentation of proper
identification.
B.
R.I.G.L. 32-1-17 defines a “person with a disability”
as an individual who has a physical or mental impairment and is receiving:
Social security disability benefits (SSDI); supplemental security
income benefits (SSI); or veterans benefits, and who shall be determined
under applicable federal law by the Federal Department of Veterans
Affairs to be 100% disabled through a service-connected disability.
