There be established in the Construction Code Department the
position of Technical Assistant to the Construction Official.
This position shall be established in accordance with New Jersey
Department of Personnel, Job Specification Number 05193, which shall
govern the qualifications and duties of the position.
This position, pursuant to New Jersey Department of Community
Affairs regulations, shall require a license as a technical assistant
in the Construction Code office as a condition of employment.
The Technical Assistant shall work under the direction and control
of the Construction Code Official of the Borough of Roselle.
Salary for this position shall be as prescribed in the Salary
Ordinance of the Borough of Roselle. The salary for the calendar year
2003 is established at $34,000.
