There is hereby created under the supervision
of the Fire Department of Ventnor City the position of Fire Marshal
and/or Combustible Inspector of the Bureau of Fire Prevention in the
Fire Department.

time of adoption of Code (see Ch. 1, General Provisions, Art. I)]
Any persons so appointed to the position of
Fire Marshal and/or Combustible Inspector of the Bureau of Fire Prevention
in the Fire Department, as set forth in the Uniform Fire Code of the
City of Ventnor heretofore adopted on June 20, 1985, by Ord. No. 8512,
and which hereafter may be amended and supplemented,[1] shall be governed thereby.

Any person appointed to the aforesaid positions
in the Fire Prevention Bureau of the Fire Department of the City of
Ventnor City shall receive as compensation that salary as determined
by the annual Salary Ordinance, as implemented within the City of
Ventnor City.[1]
