[Adopted 2-8-1978 as §§ 26-3
and 26-4 of the 1978 Code]
Sections 8-31a to 8-37a, inclusive, of the General
Statutes, as amended, pertaining to regional planning agencies, are
hereby adopted.
The City is entitled to three representatives
on the agency. The Planning and Zoning Commission shall appoint one
representative. The Mayor shall appoint the other two representatives.
The term of office of the representative appointed by the Commission
shall be established by the Commission. The representatives appointed
by the Mayor shall serve for four-year terms commencing on April 1
of the year of appointment. The present representatives appointed
by the Mayor shall continue in office until the expiration of their
terms on March 31, 1978, and March 31, 1981. The Mayor shall appoint
their successors to serve for four-year terms.
