A. Authority. This Vehicles and Traffic chapter is adopted pursuant
to 30-A M.R.S.A. § 3009 and the Town of Bar Harbor's home
rule authority articulated in 30-A M.R.S.A. § 3001 et seq.
B. Purpose. This chapter is designed to protect the public health
and welfare and ensure the orderly flow of pedestrian and vehicular
traffic by regulating the parking of motor vehicles.
