As required by state statute, the Maine Public Utilities Commission (PUC) establishes all Bar Harbor Water Division rates, rules, regulations, terms and conditions. The Town Council shall establish water rates by ordinance as required by Charter § C-30-A. Any change in rates shall not be implemented until approved by the PUC. In the event of a conflict between this chapter and PUC governed matters, the PUC provisions shall prevail.
