The words and phrases used in this chapter shall,
for the purpose of this chapter, have the meanings respectively ascribed
to them by Article I of the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of
New York and, in addition thereto, the meanings respectively ascribed
to them in this section for the purpose of this chapter:
New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day,
Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Any part of land determined by the owner or owners of said
land to be used by the public for the purpose of parking vehicles.
Those days when school is officially open for regular sessions.
The duly elected Village officers, namely, the Mayor and
the elected Village Trustees.
