The Superintendent of Highways of the Incorporated
Village of Lake Grove shall install and maintain traffic control devices
when and as required and duly authorized by the Village Board under
the provisions of this chapter and may install and maintain such additional
traffic control devices as may be recommended by the Engineering Section
of the Traffic and Safety Bureau, Police Department of the County
of Suffolk, and approved and authorized by the Village Board for the
purpose of regulating, warning or guiding traffic under and subject
to the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York and the provisions
of this chapter.

No person shall willfully deface, injure, move,
obstruct or interfere with any official traffic signs or signals.

No operator of any vehicle shall disobey the
instructions of any traffic sign or signal placed in view by authority
of the Board of Trustees or in accordance with the laws of the State
of New York, unless otherwise directed by a police officer.
