A. 
Each person convicted of a violation of any provision of this Chapter 168 (except as otherwise indicated in this § 168-23) shall, for a first conviction thereof, be punished by a fine of not less than $150; for a second conviction within 12 months thereafter, such person shall be punished by a fine of not less than $300; and upon a third or subsequent conviction within 18 months after the first conviction, such person shall be punished by a fine of not less than $450.
B. 
Penalties for violations of §§ 168-17, 168-14B and 168-14E.
(1) 
The penalties for a first conviction, second conviction within 12 months thereafter and third or subsequent conviction within 18 months of the first conviction of a violation of § 168-17, Handicapped parking, shall be not less than $250, not less than $450 and not less than $600, respectively.
(2) 
The penalties for a first conviction, second conviction within 12 months thereafter and third or subsequent conviction within 18 months of the first conviction of a violation of § 168-14B, regarding parking of commercial vehicles, shall be not less than $500, not less than $750 and not less than $1,000, respectively.
(3) 
The penalties for a first conviction, second conviction within 12 months thereafter, and third or subsequent conviction within 18 months of the first conviction of a violation of § 168-14E shall be not less than $150, not less than $250, and not less than $400, respectively.
C. 
Each day that a violation should exist of any section of Chapter 168 shall constitute a separate violation, whether or not a separate appearance ticket or notice of violation has been issued, and each such separate violation shall be subject to a separate and additional fine or penalty.
