No commercial vehicle, bus, tractor-trailer, trailer, tow truck or six-wheeled vehicle having a gross vehicular weight in excess of 6,000 pounds may be parked on any public highway, public street or public or private property in a residential district located in the Village unless the parking is temporarily done in connection with a bona-fide commercial service, sales or delivery visit to such property.
A commercial vehicle, trailer or bus (weight not exceeding 6,000 pounds) may be parked on private property within the residential area of the Village of Lake Grove subject to the following regulations.
A. 
Such vehicle (one only per property) shall only be parked in a driveway or garage and may not be used in conjunction with a commercial use or business located at or operating from or on the property. No portion of the vehicle may extend from the driveway on or over any public highway, or public road or right-of-way.

B. 
The parking and storage of such vehicle shall be in full requirements of this Code and shall not preempt the use of space needed for off-street parking of other vehicles (as per zoning regulations of the Village of Lake Grove).
C. 
Such vehicle must belong to an owner or occupant of the premises upon which it is parked and stored.

No corporation, owner, lessee, tenant or occupant of a commercial or private parking lot within any commercial or residential district may store or park a tractor-trailer, semi-tractor-trailer or any boxed, six-wheeled or open or flatbed commercial vehicle in any parking area on the premises overnight.

A. 
Deliveries in nonresidential districts are prohibited between 9:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.
B. 
While making a delivery by motor transport to either commercial or residential property, no engine shall be permitted to run.

A. 
Each person convicted of a violation of any provision of this Chapter 170 shall, for a first conviction thereof, be punished by a fine of not less than $250; for a second conviction within 12 months thereafter, such person shall be punished by a fine of not less than $500; and upon a third or subsequent conviction within 18 months after the first conviction, such person shall be punished by a fine of not less than $750.
B. 
Each day that a violation should exist of any section of Chapter 168 shall constitute a separate violation, whether or not a separate appearance ticket or notice of violation has been issued, and each such separate violation shall be subject to a separate and additional fine or penalty.
