Village of Menands, NY Article VII Parking or Standing of Vehicles on Certain Streets

§ 160-46 Restriction of parking or standing on certain streets; enumeration of streets.

No vehicle except those owned by occupants of property adjacent to the streets hereinafter named shall be left parked or standing for a period of longer than one hour in any of the following locations, and such parking or the parking or standing of any such vehicles or any double-parking thereof in any of the following locations is hereby prohibited:

A. On Wolfert Avenue west of North Pearl Street.

B. On Amsterdam Avenue.

C. On North Pearl Street north of Wolfert Avenue.

D. On Kingston Street.

E. On Hutton Street.

§ 160-47 Parking or standing on part of Wards Lane restricted.

The parking or standing of vehicles on the north side of Wards Lane east of property now owned by Mrs. H.M. Sage is hereby prohibited.

§ 160-48 Time limit.

The above-mentioned areas shall be designated as areas in which parking is not allowed for more than one hour or at any time respectively.

§ 160-49 Penalties for offenses.

Any person violating any provision of this article may, upon conviction thereof, be punished by the imposition of a fine not exceeding $25, together with the costs of the proceedings.
