There is hereby established the position of Safety Officer,
such officer to serve on a part-time basis and to be responsible for
safety instruction and a survey of safety conditions for vehicle and
pedestrian traffic in the Borough of Lansdowne and the promotion of
safety and such other duties as shall be assigned in conjunction therewith
by the Mayor and the Chief of Police.[1]
