A. 
From and after the passage of this chapter, it shall be unlawful for any person or persons, company or corporation, organization or association to conduct a poolroom or billiard room for profit or a pool or billiard table for profit within the Borough limits, without having first obtained a license for such purpose from the Borough Manager.
B. 
The applicant for a license shall, at the time of application, pay to the Borough Manager, for the use of the Borough, a fee per annum, as set from time to time by resolution of the Borough Council, for each pool or billiard table and every combination pool or billiard table, and for each and every other gaming table or device, and for which a license is required.

All pool or billiard rooms shall close and cause business to cease not later than 12:00 midnight.

Any person violating any provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof before a Magisterial District Judge, be subject to a fine of not more than $600 and costs of prosecution for each violation thereof and, in default of payment of such fine and costs, shall be subject to imprisonment for not more than 30 days.
