The penalties and enforcement of the provisions of Article VIII, Speed of Vehicles, hereof shall be those provided by the Vehicle Code of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Any person who shall remove, injure, destroy or deface any marking or sign or electric traffic signal erected to regulate traffic or to indicate the regulations provided in this chapter shall, upon summary conviction before a Magisterial District Judge, be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $25 and not more than $50 and costs of prosecution and, in default of the payment thereof, shall undergo imprisonment for not more than 10 days.

A. 
Each police officer or parking enforcement officer shall place on each vehicle reported for violation of any of the provisions of Article II of this chapter, except § 312-13, Overnight parking; parking privilege permits, a notice to the owner or operator thereof that the vehicle has been parked in violation of the provisions of this chapter and instructing such owner or operator to pay, within 10 days, a penalty of not less than $2 and not more than $50 to the police headquarters of the Borough of Lansdowne. Failure to pay within the prescribed time will result in an additional penalty of $10 for each violation.
