Wherever a space is marked off on any street for the parking of an individual vehicle, every vehicle parked there shall be parked wholly within the lines bounding that space, and it shall be a violation of this Article for any person to park a vehicle or allow it to remain parked otherwise.
No person shall park a vehicle at any time upon any of the streets or parts thereof described in Schedule X (§ 248-62), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XI (§ 248-63), attached to and made a part of this chapter, during the hours specified in said schedule, on any day.
No person shall park a vehicle or allow the same to remain parked upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XII (§ 248-64), attached to and made a part of this chapter, between the hours specified, for longer than the time indicated in said schedule.
It shall be unlawful for any person to park any vehicle or to allow the same to remain parked in any special purpose parking zone established in Schedule XIII (§ 248-65), attached to and made a part of this chapter, except as specifically provided for such zone.
The boundary limits of the Borough of Mount Oliver are hereby established as a zone in which motor vehicles may remain standing without lights, and all streets and alleys within such boundary limits are hereby designated as streets where motor vehicles may remain standing without lights.
A. 
The parking of the following vehicles shall not be permitted on any street or highway within the Borough of Mount Oliver, nor within any municipally owned or operated parking facility:
(1) 
All vehicles having three (3) or more axles.
(2) 
A-1 trucks and trailers, loaded or unloaded.
(3) 
Buses and other commercial vehicles with linear measurements greater than any one (1) of the following:
(a) 
Twenty (20) feet in length.
(b) 
Seven (7) feet in width, excluding rearview mirrors.
(c) 
Eight (8) feet in height, excluding radio antenna.
(4) 
All cabs or tractors capable of pulling a trailer.
(5) 
Commercial tow trucks.
(6) 
Trailers intended or used for dwelling space, offices, storage or any other residential, commercial or industrial purposes.
(7) 
Trailers, boat trailers, camp cars, campers or equivalent vehicles, whether self-propelled or otherwise, used or intended for use as a conveyance upon public streets or highways and whether or not designed, constructed or reconstructed or added to by means of accessories, sheds or tents in such manner as to permit the occupancy thereof as a dwelling or sleeping place for one (1) or more persons or having no foundation other than wheels, jacks or skirtings so arranged as to be integral with or portable by said trailer, boat trailer, camp car, camper or equivalent vehicle.
(8) 
All vehicles having a registered gross weight of four (4) tons or over.
B. 
The foregoing parking restrictions shall not be applicable to the following:
(1) 
Vehicles in the course of making deliveries requested by an adjacent resident.
(2) 
Vehicles used in conjunction with the rendering of necessary services requested by an adjacent resident during such times as said necessary services are actually being rendered.
(3) 
Vehicles utilized for maintenance or repair of public utilities or other construction within the public right-of-way during such times as said maintenance, repairs or construction are in progress.

No person shall park any vehicle at any time where curbs have been painted yellow to indicate no parking and/or where no-parking signs have been erected.

Any person who violates any provision of this article shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $50 and costs; provided, however, that it shall be the duty of the police officers and of the Parking Enforcement Officer of the Borough to report to the Chief of Police all violations of any provision of this article, indicating, in each case, the section violated, the license number of the vehicle involved in the violation, the location where the violation took place and any other facts that might be necessary in order to secure a clear understanding of the circumstances attending the violation. The police officer or other person making the report shall also attach to or place upon every such vehicle a notice stating that the vehicle was parked in violation of this article. The notice shall contain instructions to the owner or driver of the vehicle that he will pay the sum of $35 within five days after the time of the notice and, if not so paid, will result in a citation being issued from the Police Department to the Magistrate District Judge, subjecting a violator to additional costs and fines and a possible arrest warrant.
