The Town of Ledgeview Sanitary District No. 2 requires all contractors working within its water district be accountable to placing markers to identify the curb stops after service is hooked up at their working location. A fine of $100 will be levied upon those in noncompliance of the above matter.

A. 
All structures requiring sanitary sewer must install a backwater valve in the main sewer lateral before it leaves the structure.
B. 
The provisions of this section shall not apply to dwellings and dwelling units, the construction of which was commenced prior to the effective date of this section or to additions or alterations to such dwellings.
C. 
Violations and penalties. Any person who violates this section or fails to comply with the provisions of the section shall be subject to a forfeiture of not less than $100 nor more than $600. Each day such violation or failure to comply continues shall be considered a separate offense.

The Town of Ledgeview Sanitary District No. 2 mandates a clay or betonite dam approximately four feet long be installed between the structure and street on the sanitary sewer lateral.

All new construction from the street to the home has to be schedule forty with approved fittings. Ferncos allowed only with Town approval.

Contamination to the Town of Ledgeview Sanitary District Municipal Water System is prohibited. Anyone who contaminates the water system, whether by sprinkling system or any other means, will be fined a minimum of $500, plus cleanup and testing costs.

All new construction within the sewer service area must have a ninety-degree elbow and a capped four-foot PVC standpipe cemented/glued onto the sanitary sewer line in the basement to prevent unfinished basement runoff from draining into the sanitary sewer.
