This article and the state laws adopted by reference
herein shall be collectively known and may be cited as the "Northville
Township Motor Carrier Safety Ordinance."
The following provisions of the Motor Carrier
Safety Act of 1963, 1963 Public Act No. 181, as amended (being sections
480.11 et seq. in the Michigan Compiled Laws) are hereby adopted by
reference: Sections 1 through 1a (MCL 480.11 - 480.11a), Sections
2a through 2d (MCL 480.12a - 480.12d), Sections 2i through 2j (MCL
480.12i - 480.12j), Sections 2t-3a (MCL 480.12t - 480.13a), Sections
7 through 7d (MCL 480.17 - 480.17d), and Sections 10 through 12 (MCL
480.20 - 480.22).
The penalties provided by the state laws adopted
by reference herein are hereby adopted as the penalties for violations
of the corresponding provisions of this article.
