At
the time of filing of an application for development, soil movement,
or appeals, the applicant shall pay the following nonrefundable application
fees payable to the "Borough of Paramus" by personal check, certified
check, bank money order, or by credit card where applicable. Applications
for development or appeals requiring a combination of requests shall
pay a fee equal to the sum of the fee for each element. The exception
to this is that any case involving multiple bulk variances shall pay
only one bulk variance fee. Remitted fees for informal review of a
concept plan shall be a credit toward fees for review of the application
for development pursuant to the Municipal Land Use Law at N.J.S.A.
40:55D-10.1.

In
addition to the required application fees established below, the applicant
shall be required to establish one or more escrow accounts with the
Borough to cover the reasonable costs of professional review of applications
for development, review and preparation of documents, and professional
consultation required as a result of an application, set forth herein.
Services may include the services of a duly licensed surveyor, planner,
engineer, attorney, or any other official or person who would provide
services to ensure that an application complies with the standards
set forth in the Code and whose testimony may be solicited to give
further information to the Borough or the approving authority in any
area addressed by any of the applicant's experts. The escrow fees
shall be paid separate and apart from the application fees by personal
check, certified check, or bank money order made payable to the "Borough
of Paramus." Escrow fees shall be replenished by the applicant within
10 days upon request by the Building Department.

Nonprofit
organizations and places of worship may make request to the Township
Council for the waiving of the application fee requirements pursuant
to this section. Waiver of fees shall not apply to required escrow
funds.

For special recovery services that require additional and/or
larger equipment, that equipment shall be billed at the equipment
rate.
(c)
Additional personnel for special recovery services shall be
billed at $75 per hour per person.
E.
There shall be a maximum charge of $2,500 for Class I or II vehicles
stored regardless of duration of the storage period.
F.
The use of Speedy-Dri shall be charged that rate of $15 per fifty-pound
bag after the first bag.
A.
Vending machine license fee: $50 per calendar year for each machine
owned and/or operated by a vendor or entity in the Borough of Paramus.
B.
Late fees. A twenty-five-dollar late fee shall be charged on all
license fees which are not paid on or before February 1 of the license
year. An additional $25 shall be charged for each thirty-day period
that the license fee is not paid after February 1 of the license year.

Zoning review fee for residential applications: $35. A fee is
to be charged only for new dwellings, additions, add-a-levels, dormers,
decks and pools.
(2)
Zoning review fee for commercial applications: $300. This fee
is applicable for new buildings, additions, and site plan review.
(3)
Zoning verification letter: $50. This fee is applicable for
each request for a zone verification within the Borough of Paramus.

Inspection of a new or altered water supply: $5.
(3)
Each reinspection of a water supply, or part thereof, caused
by the failure of the permittee to comply with the terms of the permit
issued or the terms of the code: $10.

Sewage disposal system fees:
(1)
Issuance of a permit to locate and construct an individual sewage
disposal system: $5.
(2)
Issuance of a permit to alter or modify an individual sewage
disposal system: $5.
(3)
Inspection of a new or altered sewage disposal system: $5.
(4)
Each reinspection caused by failure of the permittee to comply
with the permit issued, the code or any rule or regulation of the
Board: $5.
(5)
Issuance or renewal of a license for a person engaged in the
business of cleaning or emptying receptacles for the reception and
storage of human excrement or other putrescible matter: $20 per vehicle.
D.
Public sewer system fees:
(1)
Dry house connection permit: $5.

Each of the required inspections in connection with a dry house
connection permit: $5.

Each reinspection of a final or dry house connection caused

Search for death certificate, burial permit, marriage license,
