No live rabbits shall be kept within the City without a license granted by the Health Division of the City as hereinafter set forth in this article.
No rabbits shall be allowed to run at large in the City. All live rabbits shall be confined in a suitable rabbit hutch as set forth in § 121-31.
A. 
Every rabbit hutch shall be kept in a clean and sanitary condition and shall be subject at all times to inspection by the inspectors of the Health Division.
B. 
No part of any rabbit hutch shall be maintained within 50 feet of a building used in whole or in part as a dwelling.
A. 
Each license required by the provisions of this article shall expire on December 31 in each year and shall be renewed annually.
B. 
The fee for each license issued or renewal thereof is $15.

C. 
The license fee herein set forth shall be payable at the time of issuance or renewal.
Every license issued pursuant to this article may be revoked by the Health Officer, upon notice and hearing, for violation of any provision of this article or violation of any ordinance of the City or state or federal law applicable thereto.

Any person who violates any provisions of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine in the amount of $50. Fines for violation of any provision of this article are payable at the Violations Bureau without a court appearance. Costs of court of $30 will be imposed, consistent with New Jersey Court Rule 7:11-4, for all such payments. A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
