Exempt firemen certificates shall be issued
to those members of the Fire Department who have served the time prescribed
by law and who have performed the percentage of fire duty required
by law and shall have met the qualifications required for the office
of fireman by the statutes. The exempt firemen certificates shall
be issued by resolution of the Council, signed by the Mayor and the
Chief of the Fire Department and attested by the City Clerk.
